"Then, in the spring of 1990, Cauty and Drummond took most of their gear to the Isle of Jura, off the coast of Scotland, for an eight-day visit. With film-maker Bill Butt in attendance the KLF created the film Waiting, an atmospheric rendition of their trip. Images of Cauty and Drummond setting up their recording gear on a beach were interspersed with long takes of them warming themselves by a blazing fire, recording birds and insects and generally relaxing.

Sonically the soundtrack was a mix of church hymn, Balkan liturgical chant, slices of their Chill Out album, nature sounds, excerpts from 3 A.M. Eternal and Last Train To Trancentral, revolving around a continuous burst of Jimi Hendrix guitar. Visually, a large speaker stack represented Hendrix, every appearance heralding another blast of Voodoo Chile or All Along The Watchtower".

Released at the close of 1990, Waiting was a reminder of the earlier impressionistic film and music work of Pink Floyd in various exotic Mediterranean locations."
